Creating a Master Bedroom

Our bedroom is not so masterful at the moment.  It has been picked over the last four years to complete other areas in the house.  Honestly, when I walk in the room I hear horror movie, knife wielding music... REEE REEE REEE.  It is finally time to create a serene space for the hubs & I. 

I have been on the hunt for bedroom inspiration on my latest obsession, Pinterest (Follow ME!  Shameless plug).  Where was this site when I was a hotel designer?!?  This certainly would have helped for those last minute concept presentations. 

Here are just a few of the lovely rooms that have caught my eye.

After hours of searching, I have started in this direction.

 This will require some DIY efforts, but luckily I already had a good start on this room without even knowing it.  Ivory Silk Drapery Panels (I have been trying to use these for two years), saffron silk pillows, plenty of the trellis fabric to create that headboard and a dresser I have been dying to transform into this campaign beauty!
