Call me preppy but I LOVE a monogram. I mean nothing says "THIS BELONGS TO" like a monogram. But my favorite monograms are usually in unexpected places or color combos in interiors. I just had some throw pillows monogrammed for the little's room redo. I mixed a fresh color combination of teal & tangerine with a classic style of monogramming. Not your every day girly monogram. I also learned a great tip. They were able to use a Satin Stitch which helps prevent the threads from being pulled easily. This is absolutely a positive when considering how rough kids are.
Here are a few of my favorite monogrammed interiors. Maybe you'll be inspired too.
I adore these monogrammed pillows. Monogrammed linens scream luxury to me.

Monogrammed towels are always a classic choice. Maybe consider a more modern font to update a space.

Monograms don't have to be embroidered, individual bowls make bathroom accessories personal.

I am a big fan of Jonathan Adler & his site has a fun new feature called Design Your Own... You can completely customize your very own monogrammed pillow (or rug...) You select your fabric, colors, border, font... LOVE!
