These amazing baskets from Lantern Moon are elevated to the next level thanks to some Silver Spray Paint & some creativity a la Miss Martha Stewart.

These baskets were available for purchase at Wisteria, but are no longer available. But this is just too easy not to DIY. Jump on the dipped trend by filling a tub with some latex paint (I suggest adding a bit of water to allow for easier dipping) & dip away. Place the baskets on a garbage bag to dry. ( idea via Martha... again!)
These rolling baskets from And George are great! (but super pricey) By finding a standard rectangular basket & adding 4 casters you can have this same look. (FYI: I love eBay for finding vintage casters...)
Happy Weekend!

Great ideas. Love them all. Hugs, Marty

ReplyDeleteLove the idea of adding casters to the bottom! Such an easy DIY.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to have found your blog via 6th Street Design School! I am a total basket girl so this post got me :)
ReplyDeleteLove this idea, especially for kids toys as they can easily be rolled into a closet. How did you attach the casters to the bottom of the basket? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThese are just a compilation of basket DIY's that can be done. The caster basket is actually the $300 one! I would probably use some good ole Liquid Nails & let it cure for a day.
DeleteI love those metallic baskets!!
