After the ups & downs of life the past few weeks, I am appreciating the little smiles this weekend. Those little unexpected moments that make you smile.
While I was "dealing" with the plumber, there was a knock on our door. I had received a package from my sweet in laws who were kind enough to send me this beautiful silver champagne bucket. I was eyeing it on our last trip & was kicking myself the entire way home for not asking if it could have a new home (at our house). I have frequented my favorite spots looking for one to buy, but none were quite right. This one is exactly what I was looking for. It is currently holding some other unexpected gifts from our cousin. He brought us some gorgeous heirloom veggies from North Carolina. I can't wait to create a dinner around these beauties.
Notice our chair in the background... that ended up being another little smile (after a big scream! & maybe a tear or two) I'll share those tomorrow.
