I just can't put that paint brush down! My little blogging corner has been updated again. All thanks to paint. The kitchen was just feeling really white & needed something to help balance the visual weight of the chalkboard wall.

I also finally made a drapery panel for this end of the kitchen. This was simply a canvas drop cloth that I stenciled eons ago. I have been wanting to hang it for months & finally had a minute to get it up. I love how it ties in the cornice board over the sink.

DeleteI think that hutch and desk were meant to be black; really anchors that corner and creates a different zone from the kitchen. Back painted glass looks so different from spray painted glass ... those vases really do blend in nicely. Looks great as always. Robin
ReplyDeleteAgree with your gut and Robin. The necessary 'one black piece in the room' is stupendous. Glad you put your stencil cloth up and do I want to ask how long that took? Tied in with other like it always was meant to be. And the vases were silly cool prop styling. Yay you!!!

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful space! I just received my order of the same Santa Maria Desert Flower fabric you used on your chair seat. Have had my eye on it for some time now. Will be reupholstering a chair in it in the next week or so. LOVE the bold yummy colors.
